Female YA-Elder Sims Gaining Weight Rapidly

Hello! While I cannot say anything about the weight gain bug (I’ve never encountered that), I can certainly provide links to the bug reports related to what you mentioned in the side note.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play skinny female young adult-elderly and male young adult to compare.

Only female young adults-ederly sims are gaining weight rapidly when played. Male sims do not gain weight at all.  I have to cas.fulleditmode to put their size back to where it was and literally a sim day or 2 will pass by and they gain all the weight back. When I go into cas to fix their appearance the "thickum" scale is almost at max peak every time. know it is not any of my mods because I uninstalled them to see if it still occurs and it does. 

Side note: Another bug is hungry sims would make food, dont eat it, then make more food. And if there are leftovers in the fridge they will either get a quick meal or make food that they dont end up eating and that's really annoying. They end up wasting money.

Yes! I’m so glad to see this on here! I only have my sims eat like 2x a day, no snacks, drinks, or anything but there is a noticeable weight gain in 2 sim days! It’s so extreme! I keep having to buy my sims the slimming potion from their reward points to put them back to their normal weight after a sim week. Something is really off with the weight scales in this game.

I am having this issue with the Foodies Unite NAP. Female sims get obese if the NAP is active. I've cheated my way out of it but still a bit annoying.
