How long have you waited to see if the plant is ready to evolve and what is the value (in simoleons) of the fertilizer you are using? I find that unless the fertilizer has a value of higher than 50 simoleons, it can take some time before it is available to evolve. I find if I use something very valuable, such as a dragon fruit or expensive fish, it will be ready to evolve almost immediately. I too play with spellcasters, and often on a tiny home residential lot.
Best regards,

It has varied a lot on how long i've waited. At times I accepted there was no increase and just let it be, and it never came. Other times it would arrive almost immediately. I'm using exclusively 50+ value items such as Roses or Grow Fruit. I'll try with some really expensive items to see if it's faster/slower.
- 3 years ago@Beninow Nope, using high value as items has not changed anything. Nothing happens to quality, even after 24hrs.
Also reseting cache, repairing game. None of it changed anything- crinrict3 years agoHero+@Beninow It sounds like this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/UNSURE-Quality-of-plants-not-very-slowly-progressing-No-evolve/td-p/6882397 ?
That was never clearly identified as bug though.
Also sounds like you have this issue: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Gardening-Plants-don-t-need-water-or-weeding-in-games/m-p/6878666 which QV is looking for saves for.
