    Action progress bars no longer are interrupted when a new action is added to a Sim's queue.

    Fixed in Patch 1.68.154/ 1.33

I've noticed this happening a lot more frequently in my game recently. For example, my Sim will have low hygiene but she will cancel her shower multiple times to either go chat on the computer, or play with the basketball hoop. I'm finding it really difficult to play for longer periods of time because it's so frustrating to have to keep managing this.

I'm having the same issue. I've found that stacking up actions helps. E.g. Have my sim write a book and then have her sit in a chair as a queued action. She is more likely to finish her current action because of the queued action.
