Having a toddler in my actual game I also can confirm now that the bug has gone or does at least not occur every time like in the past.
I do think my teen has the belly but not the big feet.
Need to check the other one that should age soon but is already a chubby child
I've had this issue since release of the base game (female children specifically), also NPC children (Both genders) always seem to grow up with 'negative' traits such as Glutton and Evil.
I don't know if this is the same issue or a different one. All of my females (5 in one family) are getting fatter and fatter. Working out all the time doesn't change it. The males in the same family don't have that problem.
I am not sure if they aged up. I did not start them as children, but I think they were young adults who have aged up to regular adults. I'm not sure if that's when it happened, but it would make sense.
Someone else on another website reported the same problem too.
