    Hey all, 

    This issue should now be resolved with the release of today's SDX drop and this thread will now be closed.

    If you're still having issues with this after today's release, please post in the new thread for investigation but please also be aware that the below examples are by design, and not bugged:

    1. Roughhousing NAP
    2. Mean Sims .. cause they are mean (and probably also evil)
    3. Brawls in Windenburg
    4. Club Rules

I second all of this. The issue was NOT present before the patch downloaded today. I am on PS4 with Seasons, Cats and Dogs, and Desert Luxe.

    It gets a little frustrating when a patch comes out, and it seemingly makes things worse somehow.

      Yep.

      I have it for Pc with expansions and mods. Due to it being free on console today I decided to download it on PS4 so no mods, no expansions just base. The Welcome Wagon came over and immediately my sim did a mean interaction. I saved the game and the stopped playing. I have the same issue on PC except on PC I’m managing a 12 sim household and thus need autonomy  on. 

      it’s super incredibly frustrating when a patch is supposed to fix one problem but makes a bigger almost worse issue.

      Here we are 10 days after the patch that created this issue and we are still without any real help.  I don't want to have to download mods or anything of the like to try to play the game.  I am not totally shocked by the lack of communication (though it is fairly annoying), what really surprised me is that they let such a game breaking bug persist with the event on the 18th and the game becoming free to play.  That seems like a big risk to the brand with the influx of players, new and returning.  I actually started playing again around the 9th and had intentions to buy the expansions I am missing (around 3 or 4), but with this bug existing and so little communication about it my money is going elsewhere.  Not that I think me not buying a couple expansions will matter to them or hurt their bottom line, but it does make me wonder how many others have probably come to this same decision regarding Sims content for now.

        @Tazhyr You're so right. In the past, I have bought many packs as soon as they came out, but this behavior seems to be on-par for EA. The only post I've seen even acknowledging it was on an entirely different post, where a community manager linked this one and said they were being tracked as separate issues. The game is unplayable, and it's difficult to tell if they even care.

      I just got the game for xbox. It's annoying to return to the game after so long only to find it all broken. It's almost unplayable. I tried to just stay on top of the interactions. I disabled autonomy and it still happened. Now half the family hates each other and everybody has bad sentiments.

    I've been having this problem for a long time. I thought it might be the Slice of Life mod. I guess not since you don't have that.

      @JINXEDFOXY It's been happening for a long time on Console so can't be mod related. It sounds like this update has made it worse though so maybe it will be addressed now. Let's hope so.

        What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen, Desert Luxe, Free Holiday Stuff, Grim’s Ghoulish Guitar
        Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any Sim, start a conversation with other Sims and allow them to chat autonomously.
        What happens when the bug occurs? Sims autonomously insult/yell at each other constantly, regardless of relationship, traits, sentiments, etc. This is affecting all Child/YA/Adult/Elder Sims (mine & pre-loaded EA Sims) in all of my game saves (I didn’t test toddlers). I have two new YA siblings in the game who both have the loyalty trait, so they are nice to each other but still mean to everyone else they interact with (i.e. other sims who do not have the loyalty trait).
        What do you expect to see? I expect “good” Sims to be good to other Sims without insulting or yelling at them autonomously. I expect autonomous mean interactions only from Sims with mean/evil traits/skills.
        Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
        Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
        Please describe the patch or change you made. Issue began after I installed October 11th update.

    I'm also on PS4 and have this problem, I just don't advance in the game, because I can't relate to people.
