Dust and Dust Bunnies will show up after a reload, now where did I put that Dust Dandy Cordless Vacuum?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Going about a Sim daily life on their residential lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? I’ve always kept this feature enabled. Yet, Bust the Dust system is not working at all. No dust accumulating and no bunnies. I see the sparkles though.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to work the way it was intended to work prior to the July 26, 2022 patch as that is when it stopped functioning properly.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I only have CAS cc and I removed the folder, deleted localthumbcache.package, and started a new save to test this. I play off line so there was no need to delete anything in the cache folder
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? It appeared after the 7/26/2022 patch
