[FIXED] Beds/Woohoo Bugged

Same here, before the patch when I clicked on the bed and selected woohoo they went to the bed I had selected, after the patch they went to random beds in the house. After a few days in-game this seems to have gone away and they now go the bed I've directed them to (unless they're still picking random beds and I've just gotten lucky the last few times). However, they still seem to want to go to sleep on the side the other sim is occupying, forcing the other sim to exit the bed and stand there until I direct them back into bed again. I'm almost tempted to get two single beds so I no longer have to direct my two sims to sleep 3-4 times before they finally pick a side and settle.

I have a married couple of Sims. The bed was working fine. They even had a child. After updating the game today, they don't want to woohoo in their bed. I tried resetting the bed, I replaced the bed. I moved all the objects from around the bed. No luck. If you click on the woohoo action through romantic conversation they choose a different bed in the house, even if they are right by this particular bed. If you click on the bed and choose the woohoo action they will still go to a different bed in the house. Even if it has someone in it. I can not be sure this happened because of the update, but it worked before, and stopped working after.

1. Are you using mods (Please answer with: Yes, Never, Removed) --> It's essential that stuff is tested on vanilla games so remove your mods before reporting a bug.     Removed. package mod. It happened before and after removing it. But the bed also worked with the mod.
2. Are you using custom content (as in clothing and objects) ? No (Is there custom content for Sims 4?)
3. What is your Operating System (XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1) ? Win 8.1
4. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? DVD

Checked this morning, sims still select random bed for woohoo even if a specific bed is chosen. Also noticed that in addition to the above issues my sims will not sit on the same side of the bed as each other.

So the patch is causing this? I started a new game with the Goth Household when the patch came out because I knew I was going to have ghosts finally. Never played their house before. I decided that Morty and Bella's bed should be the red one. It worked the first couple of times but then all of a sudden they couldn't woohoo and kept trying to use Cassandra's bed (the purple one.)

Thinking the bed was a "broken object" I replaced it. Replacing the bed works but it is quite a loss of simoleans. It depreciates from 12,000 to 9600. That is quite a chunk of change when they don't earn enough income to support the bills. Morty keeps quitting his jobs because of his aspiration which I also discovered seems to be borked. He got the next job to level 3 and didn't get credit for that either even though he got the new job when he was in that phase of the aspiration.

I replaced the bed to fix this glitch. Unfortunately, it recurrs so you may have to replace it more than once.

I have a similar situation. I have a bed upstairs and one downstairs. I've been trying to keep my sims apart (going for Serial Romantic) but if I take a partner upstairs, even if I choose "Woohoo" by clicking on the upstairs bed, they will go downstairs (which can lead to, ahem, awkward encounters...)

Barbara, I tried replacing the bed, and it didn't work. I tried a couple of times. This glitch existed in Sim's 3, but replacing the bed always fixed it.

It worked for awhile for me. But quit working. Very annoying. Now the only place Mortimer and Bella can woohoo is the telescope.

has any one tried the reset sim or rest the object cheat ?

ctrl+shift+c tyesting cheats true reset sim first name last name

or  hold shift click on the sim resetobject

or  hold shift click on the bed then click on resetobject

then turn the cheat off ctrl+shift+c tyesting cheats false

Thanks for confirmation @ReubenHood. I no longer have the problem, at least for now. Most of the times that I tried the woohoo was at the end of the day, so I decided to try it in the middle of the day, and that did seem to work. They woohooed, then slept without getting up immediately. Unfortunately, after that I could not get them to woohoo at all. They would propose the woohoo, do the woohoo happy dance, the poof, the action disappeared from the action window.

I upgraded their bed and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement energy, but still no woohoo. Another sim was now using their old bed. When i upgraded that bed, woohoo started working again for the couple. They woohoo, then one or both of them got up, but they dont switch places, which IMHO is still a bug.

So this problem may or may not be related to the patch, but they did switch beds the first time running after the patch.

There is obviously a problem with objects and sims behavior which seems worse after the patch. It bothers me that EA/Maxis added to the problem by adding ghosts to the game without solving the problems that exist. It does not bode well for the future stability of the game.
