I just had the same problem and found this post. I'm not going into the details of the problem since it seems like plenty of folks already have but i did want to share what solved it for me. I found a guide that stated stat you had to adopt a childe and it worked for me :D

You must make your child befriend with five different Sims, befriend with three of your children, and adopt a child.

This is my first time dealing with this aspiration so i don't know how likely it is to do the trick but i hope it helps.
Thanks, that strategy worked for me too. I then deleted the adopted kid!
