[FIXED] Bills are really high

I'm having a sort of similar issue, but my bills are four to five times higher than the ones you're reporting. My family of four has about §10,000 in their account, and the lot value is about §45,000 (about §48,000 when looking at the info panel from the town view.) Their past two bills have been §30,000-36,000. That's way too high! I do not have Snowy Escape, and I only just installed Eco Living two days ago. My game is up-to-date with the latest patch. Please send help!
@browncoat92 Have you been on vacation or another lot when the bills came ?
Only once as after I searched for an answer, I read several different posts stating that traveling or vacationing when a bill arrived may be an issue. However, the next three times since then have also been over 30,000 Simoleons on a 40,000-odd valued home. I also randomly received one normal 2,000 Simoleon bill. It's now been fluctuating between the two costs.

After, if I understand your question correctly. However, it may not be an issue anymore because my game crashed during a save, and although I recovered a previous save, the entire game has been acting glitchy and freezing a lot since. Thank you, though!
- @crinrict I have had that happen every time I go on vacation. The bills are always very high when that happens too, like $25 or so.

I will be honest it seems like the taxes should be capped. However I don't get why their isn't just a slider for taxes and bills so players can choose to increase or decrease to a level they want. anyway I am new to threads and I do think bills are too high and too many people are divided by to low or too high. A slider would solve both and make missing furniture glitches more manageable to players looking to just relax and soak things in not micromanage everything. 🤔
