[FIXED] Book options in Literary digest grayed out

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.365.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, City Living; Realm of Magic; Paranormal Stuff, Holiday Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I submitted 1 or 2 books to literary digest and now my book options remain grayed out
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to sumbit a book to literary digest
What do you expect to see? Blue item text and not gray for book options to sumbit
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

    Those Sims pursuing the creative book writing route can now get published, if it’s good enough, by being able to use the mailbox to Submit book copy to literary digest. And don’t worry, mailboxes included in Snowy Escape are accepting publication requests too.

    Fixed in Patch 1.100.147/1.80

    Hello, 

    Just figured tonight I also have this issue, thank God I'm not really playing with the Household, this was just to run some tests on gameplay for the new pack.

    My Sim finished the book and it was excellent but all options were greyed out too... I looked at the thread and this isn't an apartment box but a regular one at Oasis Spring... So I guess I'll give it a try tomorrow with another one IDK. 

    But if it doesn't work if any of you have a workaround for this I'm all ears.

    @Gagea25 Yeah I will do that once our power due to the icy storm is back and I can actually play lol. I hope this will help.

    Ever since the option showed up it has been gray for me and I have checked online and tried many things to fix it but nothing works. Thoughts or any advice?

    On my end changing the mailbox as others suggested did the trick and I could get the book published. And it was a regular mailbox.

    I'm having a similar issue. except my literary digest option is completely gone. i tried replacing the mailbox, still gone. so, my sim can only publish by self or publisher. her bestsellers are staying in her inventory till this gets fixed.

    Sounds like it, which is also why the "change the mailbox" advice doesn't work if you're playing in San Myshuno. Changing the mailbox isn't an option.

    I have the same problem. I've deleted all the cc and mod folder, but the mailbox still doesn't work properly.
