@emilyeileen99 No. It's definitely a big deal. Speaking like that will only make it easier for the issue to not be considered a priority. It's a big deal bcus despite that only the family tree is affected, spouses are not able to communicate their "affections" with each other. The tree affects every sim differently. I've seen sons become their father's brother while no longer being connected to their father as their son. I've seen full siblings become half siblings to each other where the tree splits and creates a blank family profile for a new mother/father for the sibling that was affected. It's a mess. I just don't want anyone to think that it isn't a big deal. It's a huge part of the sims. It's a simulation game and it should be addressed with as much priority as smaller bugs/glitches within the game. The issue happens with or without mods. It's a CAS issue and the sims team is aware of the issue and are investigating.... but that's all I know. MCCC can only do so much with family trees right now. It's not as extensive when it comes to connecting the deeper lines of the family tree, like grandparent, uncle, aunt, cousin, half sibling etc. My only solution is to use another relationship mod. That's what I use when MCCC couldn't go that far with the family tree. Also, once you are able to get your tree back, you cannot go back into cas. Always use "save as" when saving your game so you're able to recover the previous session. I've also been using the retail system to dress my sims. It's a pain and a struggle but an alternative until the sims team fixes this mess (Hopefully). Just have a random sim or a sim you don't mind playing to buy a retail lot and use that sim to edit the clothing in the store for your sims who you'd want to clothe. I literally tried starting a new save with the same sims and I still can replicate the issue if I go into cas. I feel like I've tried everything and I haven't found a real work-around other than what I said above.
