I play on PC. I just used it a few minutes ago to split up a household. Used it 3 times in a row. And it was really slow. The lag was nearly a minute between the time the sim used the phone and the move panel came up the first time. It was long enough that I thought the game had frozen up and I was getting ready to crash the game with Task Manager and reload. But then the panel came up and everything was ok. The next two times, it went a lot faster. So my first thought on reading your posts was if you waited long enough for the game to bring up the move panel since once the call is made, nothing seems to happen for a while until the panel pops up.
So please describe the symptoms a bit more.
Did your game seem to freeze up or did the game keep going and sims kept doing things when it happened to you?
Have you tried using the other way to do it on a lot, via a household computer to move the sims out?
If worse comes to worst, you can always use Household Manager to move the sims you want moved. The phone and computer options are just a shortcut really and only save you one or two steps in the process by not having to exit the lot to the world screen.
Hope this helps.
- 5 years ago@CGrant56 The action would queue regardless to PC or mobile they’d do the action but the move box never showed up. So if you selected phone they’d pull out their phone do the action then put the phone away and continue doing other things. Meanwhile everything continues like normal no freezing no lag. The sims all interacting. I ended up using household manager to move

I concur. I use household manager for just about everything household. I didn't even know there was a phone app for moving out.

The household manager doesn't work either.
