[FIXED] cannot add birthday candles, etc to cakes centered on round tables

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.84.197.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All, bust the dust is permanently disabled....my wedding stories may be next.....
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Bake a cake 2. center it on a round table 3. click to add birthday candles
What happens when the bug occurs? 'add birthday candles' (or anything else for that matter) is grayed out. Also, if you center a cake that already HAS birthday candles on a round table, there is no option to blow out candles, etc.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see cakes that are centered on ANY table work as intended to age up my sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. my wedding stories patch

fyi they seem to work fine on SQUARE tables, but who wants to be square, eh? 🙂

    We added some clarity to the tooltip of Wedding Cakes by including further details about eligible spots for wedding cakes to be placed in.

    'Fixed' in Patch 1.86.157/1.56.20

    I just had my sims make a matcha cake and placed it on the small round dining table from CoL, where I could place candles just fine. So it‘s either a different table or different cake. Unfortunately my sim got hungry before I could do further testing …

    It's the basegame 6 person round table perfectly centered. will not work. I use that table in most of my builds.

    The same happened in my game today. 

    There is a tool tip as to why it's grey. 

    Sorry the tool tip is in German. 

    Edit: This happens with all the big round tables seating 6, small round tables have got the option to add birthday candles.

    I use that table ALL THE TIME - I have never had an issue with adding birthday candles before this latest patch.
