I wonder if someone else have this same problem.
After career update i can't control my sim which back to home from work/school when i play another sim in public lot. I can't switch control at him or bring him to my actually played lot.
I play without mods.

Lets hope for February patch then. Should be easy for EA to reproduce.
It can happen that issues don't make the next patch, especially with that huge reload issue that needed looking into.
After the 12/16 update, some of my sims are not controllable when other sims of mine (that I control) are at a different location (nighclub, lounge, etc.). The little icon that appears at the top right of the sims in the UI does not come up (after the sim comes home from work or school). It is very annoying, and it is hard for me to enjoy the Outdoor retreat game pack. Can someone please help? I would gladly appreciate it.

Not sure what you mean. I've merged your post into this already quite long thread about the same issue.
I had a large sim family.. I took some of them to the park, sent some home because they were tired but the others were enjoying park time. Some of my sims were at work and returned home while I was still at the park. I had it set on the "care for self" thing for all of them and they weren't taking care of themselves, they were soo mad, I tried switching to home lot but it wouldn't work.. so I returned to the home lot and everybody was hungry, dirty, had to pee.

When will this bug be fixed since I am still having this bug even after January's 13 patch, I wrote the following text below in the new: Ask a simgruru discussion but it was ignored:
<My game has been too buggy to play since the last patch. Thanks though for the January 13 patch that fixed some of them. I was wondering if you know of the bugs I listed below, and when will you have them fixed.
1. Worst bug is that if a sim should visit a community lot, while any of the rest of the sims family is at work or school. Two big bugs will occur.
a. Sims at work or school will not have any of their needs met like for example hunger. Does not affect sims left at home who were not at work or school when your sim left for the community lot.
b. If sims at work or school return from work or school while sim is still on community lot the menu that says bring"" here, care for self will disappear.
c. Sims who's menu that has disappear will not care for self.
2. Sims cannot have a date on their home lot if they schedule the date on their home lot. They can only have a date on an community lot. To have a date on home lot sim must visit a community lot and schedule a date. so you have to go through 2 load screens to have a date on the home lot. Please fix really anoying, since home lot is where I like to have my sims date on.>
EA never gives an ETA on when what bug will be fixed.
They need to duplicate the issue, then find the cause, then fix it. I'm pretty sure the loading bug had priority in the January patch.
Maybe they'll fix it in the next patch, maybe not. No one knows.
