I have this problem where the relationship bar is full but i'm still acquaintance with the sims !! help please !

Hi!! I'm Galaxy Simmer (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_kKEYZqzZ3tQNjCv_C-cEg?&ab_channel=GalaxySimmer) Recently, every time my sim tries to make friends, the relationship bar increases. But, unfortunately the status is still "Impartial" or "Acquaintances"! Help!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the same problem, and others also play sims too, but right now there is no solution.
hopefully they settle it soon,☹️
