[FIXED] Can't place rooms uploaded from community

Your game is fully patched, right ? Does it matter what kind of room ? Are there any rooms that work ? Do they work if you start a new game for testing purposes ?

I have no mods or cc, and it is in build / buy mode.

My game is fully patched, and doesn't matter which room. Pretty much anything from the community except families obviously.

No rooms work except for the ones I had put in the house previously, but they didn't work after that split second.

When I started a new game is was the same.

I am thinking I will probably reinstall as it is bothering me too much, I will let you guys know the outcome shortly 🙂

I guess by now you have reinstalled. Did it help anything ?

So sorry for the late reply - I had reinstalled and everything was fine - built two houses straight from rooms off the gallery but it happened again.

I feel as though it is an error or file that sims might change itself, what it is though I truly do not know ☹️ 

Hopefully someone comes up with the solution as I have tried.

I was having the same problem when trying to place an apartment lot down from the Gallery. Try turning on the bb.moveobjects on cheat. That worked for me!   🤞
