Just downloaded the 1.10 patch and there is no option for my Handy Sim to use the Instant Upgrade interaction on the new dishwasher, just the standard options to use parts for individual upgrades. This is a bug?
@crinrict This issue is Fixed. Tested on version 17 december 2015.
Tried it out, I don't even get an option to upgrade. So move your post @ReubenHood to the bug forum.

what handy level are the sims ? as i just placed the dishwasher in game and my level 10 is able to upgrade (four options)
For some reason my 10lvl handy sim wasn't able to do a thing with the dishwasher before I reload the game.
had a some time to spare to test in a new game with new sims no instant upgrades on the dishwasher but cheated my sim in the handy skill and the upgrades on the dishwasher didn't show up until level 7
(no mods no cc)
edit..wait isn't it the completed nerd brain aspiration to get the option for instant upgrades ?
