When putting your cuddly friends up for adoption you will no longer be faced with inaccessible UI.

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs, celebration pack, and the Grim guitar.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Honestly.... Its when my cat was being put up for adoption and during the process the cat somehow ran away. The pet returned home normally, but was unable to be interacted with other than the automatic feed by hand, call to owner, cheat needs (Enable/disable need decay) and reset sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? The pet won't leave household, won't die, the event continues indefinitely. The pet is also unable to be interacted with as it should normally be.
What do you expect to see? I literally can't do anything. The pet makes it so that the "put up for adoption" interaction is indefinite, so my game can't be saved. This pet is just existing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I have no clue how to fix this without leaving without saving the game. Sadly I had just played about two hours without saving...
