Fixed an issue that made Pets’ needs to not be fulfilled if not playing an active household.

In all honesty, it's been better for a while again, made me dubious if I even had the issue anymore, but then logged on a household I had recently created with pets and hadn't played at all, and the pets were dirty and unhappy. I got them washed and moved into a big lot that I arranged as a Stray Hangout and although not all strays were consistently dirty, there was still enough sick and dirty ones to convince me that maybe you could get some use out of the save, after all.
I uploaded my save file using the Box widget.
I've noticed that it seems to affect mainly dogs visiting community lots with their owners. I've seen cats on community lots, but they don't seem to have low hygiene needs like the dogs have.
I'm having this issue aswell. All of my non-active households are neglecting their pets while playing with another family. I'm not using any mods in my game.

Where has this issue left off? I have this issue and it makes me loathe to play withcats and dogs or visit other households who have pets. Since it seems to be rather disruptive to game play and many people have reported the issue I'm wondering if there has (or will be soon) a fix?
I'm just so sad from seeing sick and mistreated pets!

Charitable deed :For the first time in the companies' history, Electronic Arts have partnered with to host challenges for simmers. EA and Maxis both vouched to donate 20,000 dollars to SPCA to prevent further animal cruelty and abuse. The challenges lasted from November 13 to December 10, 2017.

The game has a new "Create-a-Pet" tool.
Sorry I don't understand your post. I was checking on the status of the reported bug in the game. Has a real fix been found yet and/or is the team working on it? (that does not involve filling Sims inventories with Wellness Treats). It is 2020 and the bug was reported years ago and still exists. Would be great if the Devs could share an update!
