[FIXED] [CD] Roomba/Cat Interaction Causes Game Crash
Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.69.59.1020 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EPs short of Snowy Escape; all GPs short of Batuu and Spa Day; My First Pet Stuff, Laundry Day, Toddler, Vintage Glamour, as well as the free packs. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Own a roomba in a house with cats. Otherwise, it depends on whether the cat decides to obsess over it. What happens when the bug occurs? The game softlocks (Sims stop performing actions, UI is unresponsive), and crashes shortly after. I also get a LE when it happens, and it refers to a "posture graph error". What do you expect to see? If the issue is with the obsession, then cats should be able to obsess normally over the roomba. Also, the game should not crash when it happens. Speaking of Robot Vacuums becoming sentient a few lines above, we fixed an issue that made the game crash when Cats would sit on the Robot Vacuum. CatonRobot.exe is now working.

Clean save (folder/save never saw a mod + with Client Info). I do not have CTD because my system can handle it. It’s reset the cat but not the roomba. Cat must ride the roomba. // Roomba handle my dust issues. Never used befor kit //

Edit²: My cat doesn't have an obsession, but I think the obsession is not really the problem here. Because reset and LE comes without obsession.
Have the same issue since bust the dust kit. I finally sold the roomba cause every time cat was interacting with it (while cleaning the house) the game was crashing.
If roomba was on stand by, no issue. But once it started to clean the house, if cat was jumping on it, the game was crashing the very next seconds.
Also having this issue. I've recently got a new laptop and was beginning to think that the laptop was causing the issue as I never had it with my old laptop. Coincidentally I had also adopted two cats since playing my save on this laptop and also have a Roomba on both floors of the house and every time the cat interacts, the game just completely closes down. I have multiple last exception files generated because of it.

I also have this problem - particularly when the cat is riding the roomba and the roomba has finished the cleaning cycle and is about to dock into the station. I get a LE and just recently my game totally crashed.

I just found this issue in my game. I have very few cosmetics cc and mccc only. deleted the Roomba but I would like very much to see it fixed, 'cause the cat was the only reason I bought the Roomba anyway ☹️

I removed all of my mods and tested, and this still happened. I got the error checked out and the cat trying to interact with the vacuum is what caused the crash.
Speaking of Robot Vacuums becoming sentient a few lines above, we fixed an issue that made the game crash when Cats would sit on the Robot Vacuum. CatonRobot.exe is now working.
Fixed in Patch 1.77.131/1.44
