Nope, no mods. I did find a fix though. I took my teen sim (she spent the whole of her 'child' time downstairs!) to a community lot and she was able to go upstairs. When I then took her home, she could finally use the stairs there too. No idea why this worked, bit of an odd glitch! But that's what worked for me 🙂
I had this problem as well. My household lives in Oasis Springs, so I had the entire family (one child, aged up from toddler, and one toddler) visit the Futures Past museum. Had them view an artifact on the second floor, and they were able to climb the stairs. Sent them back home and they were able to climb upstairs to their bedrooms. Movement Level 2 gives them the ability to climb stairs, so definitely a glitch with the latest update. Thanks for the tip, as this worked. 🙂
