[FIXED] [CL] [S] Snow inside Premade buildings

Hi All (Especially Crin! It's been years since I've posted but I am just now joining the Sims 4 era!!)

I wanted to share I have this same experience with Planet Honey Pop.

Things to note: 

1) I modified the building into a high end fashion retail lot. I moved the outdoor top floor entrance facade center with the building to make the entrance area flow with the community area tha features to symmetrical tree beds in front of the building. 

2) As I Opened for Business those 2 days were snowy dark days. The lights inside didn't seem to do anything. They did in the bathrooms tho. 

3) Found that the "facade over hang" over the front entry porch was open to the interior with no floor tiles. The game wouldn't let me add any which I thought was strange, so I improvised and moved the wall to enclose the space. 

**It was this action that ultimately resulted in me obtaining the snow on interior floor problem like in this post**

4) This worked and the lights came on as they should. The issue was that this was when the snow on the interior lowest level floor showed up.

5) Since I started sims 4 on the 1.69 patch I had platforms from day 1. I used them to building display window cases in the front of the building. 

I wanted you to know the two things I did differently that ultimately resulted in the same glitch. 

Speaks volumes that if I removed one wall pane to outdoors along a floor tile with no platform foundation, the interior snow disputes even tho the space is open to outside. 

hope these items help you! I'll keep working on a work around because I love this lot as a high end fashion store in the fashion district. Makes sense. lol

Happening to me. Did this get fixed? I'm on planet honey pop lot also, but with a different build (though still based on the original honey pop). Removing a wall dissipates the snow. I couldn't fix it by adding a wall as someone said

So, as simvasion said in the other post, the issue seems to be due to the 'fake' split leveling because the build I used had a sunken center portion which wasn't being considered as a room (as in clicking on the portion doesn't bring up the room resizing arrows), rather part of the exterior. And because I couldn't click on that portion, I couldn't raise the floor. I fixed my lot by extending the normal level rooms to the sunken level and that leveled out the floor and removed the snow. 

I still hope it gets fixed though. It looked nicer with the different leveled floors

I have this issue with the lots Mt. Komorebi Peak and The Croft Icefall. These two are hidden lots and only accessible while climbing. I decided to make cabins in both of them and you can see the snow inside the building. The most interesting thing about them is that I didn't build any split level nor used platforms at all. 

I think I know what the issue is, but I don't know how to fix it quickly or efficiently. It looks like- and this only goes for Honey Pop- but the areas with the Chestnut Flooring (i.e. everything but the raised areas) doesn't actually have a floor. Whoever built it, built the whole building on a platform, deleted the floor for the Chestnut Flooring area, and placed said Chestnut Flooring directly on the ground/grass in that area. Because there technically is no floor in that part of the building, whatever is in that area is on the ground and subject to the elements- like snow- because the game is viewing those tiles as outdoor area.... if that makes sense. 

The platforms should have been added as platforms (since, ya know, we have that option in the game), but they were reverse-engineered in the most backwards way possible. Sadly, I'm not creative enough to find a solution that doesn't involve re-building the building properly, and I'm far too lazy for that. 

It's been 2 years. It's still not fixed ...

I got the Problem with snow inside several buildings like the Karoke Bar "Honey Pop!" or the Discotheque "Pan Europe"

I reworked and found reworks fixes for the Honey Pop in the Galerie but not for the Pan Europe does someone know if a fixed version of the Pan Europe exisits?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Floor in living room became white on first day of winter. Before everything was right i played with this house all week. I showed on screenshot what type of floor has living room (modern parquet).
What happens when the bug occurs? In Maxis house (from gallery) floor started to have a bug in living room, but on the kitchen and on the side of living room the floor still brown. But mostly all living room with white floor now. It happened on first day of winter when everything outside became white, but Maxic house got roof and in same room other spots with floor didnt changed.
What do you expect to see? I want that all floor in this room was same colour but it dissapeared and being white.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Unfortunately, this is not a bug but a specification, I think.
The snowy areas are not recognized as "rooms".

Partially walled

The procedure to make them recognized as "rooms" is as follows. (About cheats, please refer to "help>use cheats" on the Sims 4 official website.)
1. Turn on "bb.moveobjects"
2. Create a room as shown in the below image.

3. Put up the wallpaper and flooring.
4. Delete the walls where there were no walls before.
Be careful when applying the wallpaper.
Since the room has been changed to a large room including the kitchen, if you paste the wallpaper while pressing "Shift", the wallpaper in the kitchen and the hallway to the back door will be the same. It would be a good idea to take screenshots of the wallpaper in each room, etc. just in case.

You might want to DL to another lot and try it out.

Since the post with my answer has been merged, I would like to add a few words.
If you simply apply this fix to the "Planet Honey Pop" as presented in the OP, you will get glitches in the floors. This method is effective when all floors on the same floor are the same height.
