Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.77.146.1030 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Travel to the Humor and Hijinks Festival and either watch NPCs attempt to light fireworks or buy fireworks and attempt to light some for yourself. What happens when the bug occurs? The sim attempting to light the fireworks will T-pose for a split second and reset. The firework remains unlit. What do you expect to see? The sims should be able to light the fuse of the firework successfully. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. Since patch 1.77.133.1030 I believe.
Fortunately this doesn't seem to prevent completion of the "Light fireworks at the Humor and Hijinks Festival" phone call event NPCs can give you when the festival is in town. You're given credit for lighting a firework even though you T-pose.
The exception errors mention the Finchwick Fair and look something like this:

EDIT: I've also tested this with fireworks my sim purchased on the computer and tried lighting at home in their yard. Same failure to complete the action
Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
That said, since this fireworks bug is still being seen by some players, there is probably another issue occurring which was not resolved by the first fix.
For anyone still seeing this issue, would you be willing to share affected (and unmodded) save files?
EA apparently doesn't seem interested in actually fixing this bug or providing the purchased product as advertised. Instead of pushing out more buggy crap for us to buy, it would be nice if they would actually fixed the products we have already purchased. The problem seems to have occurred after I purchased the latest expansion or two pack. Where were the beta testers on that one?
The title on this says "Needs Saves" but the last EA post from August said they no longer need saves for this issue. Clearly they need something because it's still ongoing. If they need saves I can send them mine, I just don't know where to send it.
@vadish3825 The tags are changed by me and I didn't see the edit. Thanks for pointing it out
Unfortunately I can't currently edit any first posts cause that breaks the template. Will do when it's fixed.
If Robo said they don't need saves, then they don't.
