Sims now can add rooms for Room Addition gigs.

EDIT: I think the issue is that the game thinks everything is an existing structure for some lots. .. Currently can duplicate the issue on the Heckling House in Brindleton Bay. So it's really a matter of lot, maybe gig

Do you guys remember if all the houses you had issues with had foundations ?
Yes, substantial foundations - see pic attached. For what it's worth, I've since been able to add rooms and even a level in different houses while on gigs.
Yes it did seem that the places had foundations.
Kin-Ship & the Delgato houses were floor renovations and it worked great. I as able to pretty much demolish the house and rebuild for both.
Are you only doing homes without foundations? I've been steering clear of them and only doing no foundation homes.
An interesting point with this issue: If I try to add on to the existing structure, that has a foundation, it won't let me. If I build a separate building on the lot that has no foundation, it will allow that. I haven't had the gig give me a house that didn't have a foundation yet.
