Sims will no longer be stuck on client's lots after completing a home decorator gig.
Fixed in Patch 1.105.297/1.87

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Once you finish a decorator gig, in the past, the home button would come up and you could leave and return home. This is now not an option and you have to exit by visiting another lot visible form the lot you are on.
What happens when the bug occurs? You are stuck at the client's house.
What do you expect to see? An option to return home
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I also have this issue in my game! I play with this career a lot since I am rebuilding my sims world, and it definitely is a recent issue; within the last few patches I'm pretty sure. I did wonder if it was mod related in my game, but I see that others have had the problem without them. I find this bug really frustrating because I have to debug (rabbit hole because simple debug doesn't work) my sim every time and it is sapping the fun out of playing. I hope this issue gets fixed expediently!!!
This career is STILL not working correctly.
The "stay or leave" interaction once decorator has completed the job doesn't pop up and ask if you want to stay or leave, after some time you just get booted out of the place.
The simoleans (payment) do get given (I think) however not after the job has been completed, they seem to be given before decorator has "finished" the job, though it's hard to tell what job completion actually even looks like now because it's all messed up. The popup at end of job just says decorator earned 0 simoleans every time. And again at that popup no option is given to either stay or leave.
Can someone PLEASE fix this career already? It's been a while.
Nope I am not okay letting this slide for a year or whatever the timeframe is to get something fixed.
Please fix this career, it happened when the High School Years patch came out. Make it unhappen!
