Sims will no longer be stuck on client's lots after completing a home decorator gig.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 197621020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except for Journey to Batuu, Werewolves, High school years.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the home decorator career. Sometimes, when you complete all the objectives and the clients are satisfied, the reveal event won't end. Following that glitch (fixed by reloading the game), the gig won't end, you won't get paid and the only option to fix it is to completely quit the gig and lose time and money either way
What happens when the bug occurs? I don't get paid for the renovation I did, the gig won't clear so I cant start a new gig. My reputation and progress doesn't improve or decrease. You're just stuck. I get so frustrated I could cry.
What do you expect to see? After I reveal the renovation, whether or not the client likes it, I should be paid, allowed to leave the lot without having to reload my game, and the gig should clear.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I'm so frustrated and your "contact us" page is useless.
I'm having the same issue. After the reveal and reveiving the verdict from both clients nothing happens. Even when the timer runs out of the event, nothing happens. If I try to end the event 'early' (cause the timer has run out already) it doesn't work. When reloading the event is over, but the gig is still in my tab. Only thing to do is resign. Getting no money and a bad reputation. This has happened with 2-3 gigs with this sim which SUCKS! Since I'm doing an Extreme Start Legacy and have yet to earn money from my job. I ended up starting over and changing to a different career for this sim.
Sad to see this career is still unplayable for many people when it is pretty fun when it works.

I'm having the same issue and It's almost every gig now. I don't even want to play anymore it's getting so bad. It's so frustrating because I love the career and everything that comes with it, but these constant errors have me playing VALORANT. I really hope EA fixes this before I have a breakdown.
Its been a while since I played the sims, but started again recently, I have all packs installed except Home Chef Hustle, Poolside Splash and Modern Luxe. I have no mods or CC installed, this is a new PC, and I've never installed any custom content on here. Just did a room renovation, the first part went fine, took photos, asked for interests and preferences, did the renovation and took more photos. Then I asked for the clients to come back, they did, but no pop up appeared when I did the reveal, no acknowledgment in the career tab or social event window. Nothing. I couldn't go home because the event was still going on, and I couldn't cancel the event. I ended up quitting the game, then loading it again, so I could go home, but didn't get paid, didn't finish the job, and got no performance upgrade.
I swear I keep quitting this game because it barely works, I come back now and again to see if it works yet. But nope, still doesn't work. This bug has been around for over a year, and nothing has been done. Does anyone over at EA even care?
Same issue here, I haven't played DND career since quite some time so I cannot say when the issue appeared in the fist place. For me it's after last patch.
Every single gig finishes with:
- not being able to leave the lot after finishing the gig or
- after receiving final verdicts I cannot travel home and the ''receive final verdict'' task is uncheked although is shows complete numbers of verdicts received.
What I am doing as a workaround is saving (save as), exiting to main meu, load game (not resume) and play my sim which is in client's house. Everything is cleared and I can travel back home.
But it is quite annoying to do this after each gig.
