Sims will no longer be stuck on client's lots after completing a home decorator gig.
Fixed in Patch 1.105.297/1.87

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All current expansive packs. Game packs: werewolves, my wedding stories, dream home decorator, realm of magic, strangerville, jungle adventure, parenthood, vampires, dine out, spa day, outdoor retreat. Stuff packs: home chef hustle, paranormal, nifty knitting, tiny living, moschino, my first pet, laundry day, toddler, vintage glamour, kids room, movie hangout, spooky, luxury party.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do a interior decorator gig.
What happens when the bug occurs? After the reveal, nothing happens. Do not receive notification of if they liked the result or not. Do not get the option to go home or stay on lot, just shows sim is still working.
What do you expect to see? Interior decorator gigs should end after the reveal. A pop should show if the customer was satisfied or disappointed, show simoleons earned annd career process. Then should get another pop up that gives the option to go home or stay on lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Everyone has this issue and is sick of it. We love dream home decorator but this bug makes the interior designer career unplayable.
I've been following this thread for months after buying the dlc and realising that it was broken. Fortunately, I found a fix that worked for me, it does involve downloading a mod though!
It's from the mod creator Zerbu and the mod is "Fixed Interior Decorator Career". Hope this helps out some people 🙂

I have same issue
I have had the same problems being an interior decorator with three different families just to make sure the one family was not bugged. Nope, everyone of them have the same problem
as fruitlooper18 Newbie. it worked great for a while, but for the last month, it never lets me complete the job and the only way I have found is to save it and then get out of the game completely.
I lose my money, but at least I am allowed to travel home. This is the best job to be because you can do it everyday or take a break and go on vacation with the Sims family and you don't
get fired.
