[FIXED] [DHD] Gig completion pop up not appearing

For Rent, Home Design, Grow Together, City Living, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Cottage Living, Cats and Dogs, 4 Seasons, Vampires, Tiny Living Stuff, Outdoor Living, Romantic Garden Stuff, My First Pet Stuff, Desert Luxe Kit, Greenhouse Haven Kit, Blooming Rooms Kit, Book Nook Kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am not sure: installing sims with the expansions on a MS surface with lots gallery downloads and some ucc, then starting home design career...
What happens when the bug occurs? Completing all the tasks of a home design career mission, the mission is not going to end.
What do you expect to see? A popup telling me about payment and final evaluation, and the option to leave the customers place.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I will fill out this bug report twice, since I tried on TWO several computers with different infomations to know.

The first installation, where I had these problems, is on a microsoft surface tablet, which is not made for gaming, but its graphic is quite okay. But there was Sims installed with other gamepacks before and I forgot to delete the old installation before installing the new one. Maybe this made problems.

Then I had serveral UCC in the mods folder, and also tried 1 or 2 mods (e.g. UI Cheat Mod). I also downloaded really much from the gallery.

While playing for several weeks I found -at least- 5 different bugs, which appeared regularly and often (with mods and also after removing them!):
I am not sure if I should create a bug report for each of them? I list them up, because I hope maybe there is some relation to the home-design-career bug.

1) Red border and game paused when returning from build/buy mode back to live mode. (Of course, maybe because of UI Cheat Mod). But after clicking on serveral buttons, the game continued somehow.

2) Active sim beeing "freezed" while time continues. Dont know wether clicking on buttons or waiting let the game continue somehow. (I suspected, some information window could not get focus)

3) After creating a new sim and telling him to choose a job, the job window didnt show up. (Again: some window did not get focus / come to front)

4) When going to a festival, which was intended to last until 11pm, my sim still couldnt go home at 11:30pm. When pointing over the readonly option for going home it said: the sim is still working (but it was NOT his work time). I had to "cancel" the event, which was quite strange.

5) As so many others already posted: the home design career mission did not end, since the final evaluation did not appear. I could not send my sim home after work done. (Again: some window not getting to the front?)

When facing the last bug, which means not being able to play the game as it was intended, I searched this forum and google and reddit a lot. I found several instructions, what you can try to remove the bugs. It took me hours and was not very nice to repeat the stuff all the time (especially for bug 5).
