    • Fixed an issue with object picker UI menus that - when certain conditions were met - would interfere with Sims’ ability to run various “Give” interactions (interactions where objects would be given to other Sims).

    Fixed in Patch 1.105.345/1.89

What is your current game version number? 1.105.332.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP01~EP05, EP09~11, GP02, GP03, GP06, GP10, SP01, SP03, SP11, SP13, SP14, SP17, SP33, SP35, SP40, SP46, FP01
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Start a new save and household on any lot. 1a. Enable cheats with testingcheats true, use bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement cheat to unlock all obtainable objects. 2. Buy any grill objects, buy 'Flock of Wild Birds' and/or 'Wild Rabbit Home' and place all on lot (rabbits can be summoned via interaction menu cheat, if needed). 3. Interacting with the previously bought grill, cook both grilled vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. 4. Using the phone menu, select 'Order a Delivery' > 'Zoomers'; order both a vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal. Accept order whenever it arrives and unload the delivery in active sim's inventory. 5. With all meals in active sim's inventory, interact with either rabbit or bird and select 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Veggie Meal'. Observe the result. 6. Repeat the above, but select 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Meat Meal'. Observe the result.
What happens when the bug occurs? 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Veggie Meal' and 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Meat Meal' actions fail to open the UI picker; interaction does nothing. Sim is unable to gift certain vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals to rabbits and birds.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to gift certain vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals to either rabbits or birds.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

To test this further, you can also remove the grilled vegetarian meal before using 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Veggie Meal' interactions and grilled non-vegetarian meal before using 'Gifting...' > 'Give Gift...' > 'Give Meat Meal' respectively to observe a little bit more of the issue. Ordered meals must remain in active sim's inventory or the interaction will be greyed out on both rabbits and bird stump.


Additionally, separating grilled large serving grilled meals into single serving with 'Pick Up Serving' and repeating the instructions above will result in the same issue. However, removing either grilled vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals of any kind from active sim's inventory will allow rabbit and bird gifting actions to continue successfully when using their respective interactions.

    @sleepsinbloom There's issues with giving stuff from inventory atm

    Are you getting any lastExceptions with that ?

      Yes. It does generate a lastException. Although I'm not sure if this is enough, here is formatted exception below since I'm a little unsure how to attach the full report.

        @sleepsinbloom yeah, that looks like the same LE as the other issues throw.

        Can you gift them something else if you have those items in the inventory ?

        Currently it all seems tied to certain inventory items causing issues with the food picker so maybe meat is just one of them.
