[FIXED] Dishes being ignored when cleaning up

I am also having this issue. Multiple empty dishes sitting out, a book, no party. Maid comes by and cleans the toilet, then leaves. All dishes still left out, book left out. I've ended up dragging all the dishes to the sink by hand, no dishwasher for my sims. The problem only started occurring after I did a few building cheats. Move objects on and making objects "float" on top of something, for example the dinner and coffee table, a lamp from tiny living. Only have tiny living, get to work and dine out. Have not had this issue at my other sims restaurant yet, no building cheats there. But then haven't played that file since this started happening in my hopeful legacy family but thinking that fam might bite the dust if this issue is not resolved with a house that no building cheats were used in. No furniture is diagonal. I really think it has something to do with the building cheats.

I ran into the same issue today - Turned out this ceiling fan was the culprit (it affected dishes on the table below). There might be other objects causing the same problem.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have multiple sims get leftovers, all of them eat the plate clean, then one sim clicks on a dish and and press “clean up” instead of cleaning all the dishes they only clean the one
What happens when the bug occurs? instead of cleaning all the dishes they only clean the one
What do you expect to see? them clean all the dishes
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
