    • When you throw a social event, attendees will now do their part to complete communal events.

    Fixed in Patch 1.41.42 ... Hopefully for good

Same problem. I'm a new sims 4 gamer and I have a sim who was doing a dinner party, 6 sims dancing, didn't get gold. it was a bummer!

Not only have I recently experienced this problem with two weddings, a birthday, and a house party, I also had a (different) birthday party immediately fail as it started. No joke, the party just started, guests were walking TO the door, then it said I failed the party. Three-second party fail...😬

Also, is anyone experiencing played sims not changing their outfits for the parties? Like say you have a wedding, but the played sims aren't changing into wedding and/or formal wear?

    Ah, I had a wedding where everyone was in normal clothes. Thought it odd, but didn't think much of it. Interesting to see that it is actually a problem!

      Haha, yeah. It was more odd than anything else. The only one that seemed to not be an issue (for me) was the black & white party. Then again, the sim I had hosting that party was already in black, sooooo...
