[FIXED] [DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date/Hang-out

There is this older bug which I'm unsure if it's still happening but that was more that the tasks didn't complete and only if you owned the restaurant. Linking it anyways.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go on a date with a sim, got to a Restaurant an red to get a desk 
What happens when the bug occurs? The waiter takes the money and than nothing happens 
What do you expect to see? Getting a table

We need an immediate fix/patch for this because it makes the dating/event system basically pointless. There are ways to work around it for now however that is the point of the love struck pack. I have this same issue, made a post about it as well.

I’m having the same issue since the last update. Have had this problem at two restaurants now. Other Sims get seated  but not mine. They walk up to Host Station and then nothing happens.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your Sim use their phone to ask another Sim out on a date and go to any restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant, go to the host podium, and request a table. 
What happens when the bug occurs? The host pushes buttons on the tablet (or whatever it is) on the host podium, and then shrugs.
What do you expect to see? The host giving my Sim and their date a table
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but I noticed several people who are playing the game withOUT mods and cc having this problem.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I'm not sure, as I haven't had a Sim go out on a date since before the nursery and artist kits came out.

Restaurant dates are an important aspect to my Sims game. It's easier than going to any other venue for me. What is going on with this game here?

EDIT: Also, my Sims do not own the restaurant any of the restaurants in my game. This has happened so far with two restaurants. When they are NOT on a date, I can get a table. When they are on a date, the host will not give them a table.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Ask a Sim on a date, select a restaurant, press on the pedestal or on a table "Request Table"
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim will speak to the host, but the interaction ends after they speak, and my sims are not seated but the NPCs can be seated.
What do you expect to see? My sims to be taken to a table after talking to the host.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not that I am aware. I just installed the game after years of not playing it.

dates for me no longer work in the sims 4 when I ever I press request table on a date it doesn't work the sims just look annoyed and never give my sims a table no matter how many times I click request a table for a restaurant date why is this happening?
