I don't see the usual menu to describe my game. I have all Add-ons to date, and no mods. Windows 11, 64-bit, on a computer I bought January of this year.
When I ask a Sim on a Date, or do so within the Relationship menu, a restaurant host ignores my Sim's request to be seated. Looks like they actually say no before the interaction goes away. I asked at least 3 times before I gave up and ended the date early. This is the fancy restaurant of the 1st neighborhood and my date doesn't change his clothes to formal either. I also went to Sunny Side Up Diner and same thing happened. I repaired the game to no avail. This started after I installed Get Dating. I am starting from the new hood, but I don't have all day to troubleshoot and go to a different neighborhood. This doesn't happen if I just travel to a restaurant and request a table; that works fine.
I forgot, can we uninstall an expansion to see if it goes back to normal? Anyway, this thing is buggy for certain.
I did report this elsewhere, but I can no longer switch from my game to anything else running on my computer, including task manager, desktop, or a browser. This is the only game this happens to, so it's definitely another bug in The Sims 4.
