So I have built and built and built. I have worked on the drake dorm and the britechester commons and on another lot in between the colleges but when it comes to honeydew fields I just keep having troubles. I first moved my sim in and wanted to improve honeydew fields so I built a new lot after demolishing. and I played on it for a bit and could add objects but then when I went to improve the build by expanding I couldn't. It would say "Can't connect a room to with a different height" the thing is though, I built it all on one uniform foundation. no different height except the stairs to gain access to the home. So I thought I messed up. So I demolished it and then rebuilt something a bit different. Same deal. Then I went to change some wall paper on the exterior and I could not even touch the room and it was registering as a room. and I was not able to click on the wall but the objects hidden behind it instead. So I demolished and tried again. I tried downloaded stuff and rebuilding and I kept running into the same issues. Just a bit upset.

Could you upload that house in the screenshot to the gallery and I’ll download it and test. I’ve managed to add an extension to Honeydew Fields but maybe I haven’t replicated fully what you were trying to do.- 6 years ago
Yes, I will upload the lot later today and I will try the other things today as well.

Alright it is uploaded on the gallery as Honeydew Troubles. Thank you. I hope we can figure this out. I am about to try to build something different without foundations to see if that is the issue.

Thanks 🙂 This is looking a bit odd, the double arrows in what should be one room. Going to play around a little more with it:
Thanks too 🙂 I'll look at yours shortly.
Edit - NVM, I see the porches now. Still playing with it, very frustrating!

The errors I'm getting are for split leveling, but there are no split levels.
I'm having a problem with one of the lots in Britechester. I'm able to build on the lot until I revisit it. I had completely demolished and rebuilt the lot to make sure it wasn't just something that went over my head. After I had gotten back to where I was, I had left the lot knowing I was still able to build walls. When I returned I got that same error.
I've removed my mods folder.
Repaired my game.I returned to the lot without mods to see if maybe that was the issue, but it still continued.

@SeaCucumbr Can you please post a screenshot of the exact error message you're getting? It would help to know the precise wording, to compare with other people.
And please test in a clean folder: Move your entire Sims 4 game folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then start a new save and try the same thing. Don't add any mods or cc, just test with no added content.

@puzzlezaddict In the attached image, i had attempted to build a wall in the middle of the room. This is the Honeydew Fields lot in Britechester.

@SeaCucumbr I've merged your posts into this thread, where Bluebellflora is already troubleshooting issues with the same lot. She's much better at building than I am, anyway.
If you could upload the lot to the gallery and let her know where to find it, that would be very helpful.
