Dating does not seem to work properly with University professors. I can Ask For Date in person and the professors will accept the date. However, nothing gets counted for either the main goal or the secondary goals, making it impossible to get past bronze. Bronze is only possible if my Sim's reputation and/or the lot traits let the date start that way. Since I am able to ask for a date, it can be accepted, and I can do all the interactions required for a date, I expect to succeed in getting gold, not be handed an unjustified failure or bronze. This is clearly a bug in my opinion.
I've never seen this tuning filter anywhere in the game. Please remember that not all of us are modders.

Also, I've been told that the only restrictions here should be that students and professors should not be able to merge into the same household. Once a student has graduated, the restrictions should be removed.
