Is this still causing issues ?

@crinrict I've encountered this with the base game and what I discovered was that the sim object IDs were written into the tray objects therefore after re-inserting the character data [adding them to another household] the original instance would be updated. This is the reason that your first household is empty after deleting the second and there really isn't a reason for them to fix this. Simply edit the characters/family within a new file so the engine will generate new IDs for each object.

Do you mean you experienced this a while a go or just recently ?
According to the patch notes there was a fix to the issue but I don't know if this particular one has been fixed with it.
So if you still see it, I'll reopen. If it was before the Dec 4th patch, a new test would be very helpful to me 🙂

I meant back when the base version was released. I've just tested this again with the current version and it appears to have been fixed.
