    after the update Jan 16, 2024, the fizzing machines started working - 

    Sims 4 Update 1/16/2024

    PC: 1.104.58.1030 / Mac: 1.104.58.1230

Same here. They said they fixed it in this most recent patch, but it was never broken for me at all. Worked perfectly fine. Now I have to buy a new one everytime I use it!

What they meant to say was that this wasn't broken.  They fixed it, now it is.  You're welcome.
