Fixed a crash that occurred when loading some households

Hi I can't seem to see this probem on the forum so I thought I would put it up. My Sims 4 game on the PC won't start. I press the big play button and it begins loading but then closes itself and Origin. I have mentioned this to EA already in a live chat and they said it was an issue many people were having and they will fix it. I have no idea when that will be and wanted to know if anyone else was having this issue and if anyone knows if it has been fixed yet?
I also tried loading it up the day before to check if it was fixed yet as there was an update and I thought the patch would be in it. I did manage to load the game but whilst playing I found that my dog disappeared and I couldn't call it back as it was greyed out but it had not run away. Then the toilet was on fire when my sim used it and I could no longer use the bin to get money from the rubbish. It seemed the game had many glitches and so I asked EA again and they said it still hadn't been fixed. It has been a couple of days since then and I wondered if there was an update?
Yeah I tried the repair for my problem but it didn't fix the bugs unfortunately.
i repaired twice bc the first time something went wrong and now it loads. maybe try again?
