I have the same issue. I found a off the grid fridge from dumpster diving and used it until I figured it might be the cause. It uses up 5 consumption so I got two solar panels, but it kept going. Then I deleted it, but it's still happening and I don't have anything on my lot that consumes power.
@LaJefa_05Interesting. I will try deleting my fridge and see if the power just drains on its own regardless. I did make sure that in the Bills menu it is set to "store" and not auto-sell, so it shouldn't be draining.
Edit: deleting the fridge kept my power, in my game. Once I added the off-the-grid fridge back, it started draining again.

i have the same problem with all of the grit fridges. and i also has this problems with of the grit lights! like candels on the wall use power HOW?!

Yeah, I think it might be the candles which is crazy. When the power runs out, the candles still work, but their's no power though.

Hmm, do you have candles on your lot? I'm starting to think it might also be a bug that candles are using power when they shouldn't on my lot.
- 6 years ago@LaJefa_05 I have both candles and fridges. In my game, when I deleted the fridge, it stopped draining the power surplus even though the candles were on. Although I do not know if candles were draining any power. I can try to test that tonight. But as soon as I put the fridge back on the lot, power was drained very quickly.

I can confirm it's the fridge, even my Ice Box-style fridge uses power (and way too much; Five Roof-top Solar Panels, 1 Roof-top Wind Generator and 1 Ground Windmill can't keep up to a 5 Energy Consumption Iced Fridge) and not the candles. Note it takes a few seconds sometimes for the bills to update, so factor in that to your calculations. Also I'd like to add that it'd be nice (somewhat related) to have individual appliance power/water toggles instead of switching the entire house. (I know I can just store them in household inventory but that's not a real solution)
D
Edit: Since it's likely related to the power constantly switching on/off from this effect can I suggest that we reduce the number of notifications on off-the-grid changes until such a time as this bug is fully repaired? Either that or add an option in the Settings Menu: Limit repeated Notifications by playtime 5 minutes, 30 minutes, or 2 hours? I mean it's really annoying.
- 6 years ago@LeissaMyst I'm got rid of power-generation entirely, on a new lot with no power items and I still get the "off the grid" notification.
But that's shocking that 5 solar panels, wind generator and windmill can't support the fridge! I just don't think the fridge should be using any power at all unless the power-options are used. It works just fine with the limited options totally off-grid.
