Forum Discussion
Hi all.
I've posted about this on reddit, and I thought I'd try here, too.
I recently got 4 new expansions, Get Together, Eco Lifestyle, Cottage living and Seasons! (Not sure if this would make a difference, but explaining anyway)
Since I've installed those, I made a new sim in the Baguely area. All was going well until I got a call from the Landgraab company who said they were shutting my power off for 48 hours. (You can see where this is going.)
The power hasn't come back. I've tried going to a new lot. Closing and reopening the game. I've got windmills on the roof as well as 4 solar panels. There's no power outage NAPs (I still don't understand these)
The power will come back on for a moment, then go right back off again and it's confusing and frankly, very annoying now. It's really impacting the gameplay.
I've got a youtube video of this happening, where the power will just come on, go off, come on, go off....
Youtube video of problem
Thank you for your time, and I hope we can solve this soon! x
- crinrict4 years agoHero+@MinakoKaori I merged your post with the bug report on this. There's some suggestions in this thread you can try.

I've had the same problem and tried everything that was suggested here. Tonight I used MC Command. Click on the mailbox and in the utilities menu turn the power consumption to low and the power production to high. My power started to work again after that.. Hopefully it keeps working.

it's working! Thank you so much.- crinrict2 years agoHero+
- After enforcing regulations with the Landgraab Power Company, power on a Sim's lot will no longer be unexpectedly shut off when bills are paid in full.
Fixed in Patch 1.106.148/1.91
