Does anyone know if this issue can be resolved if you just uninstall eco living?
I have only had the dreaded prank phone call from that hag nancy landgraad once BUT it was in an apartment. As someone else had mentioned, if this bug happens in the apartments then ALL UNITS OF THE APARTMENT are affected by it. I only found this out after moving one of my households in and completely remodeling the apartment. When my sims got home from traveling, I had no power and the message when I hover over any electronics was the cheeky "sorry, not sorry" message from "landgraab power company"
(This was the 4 unit one from city living, I had the call in one apartment, lost my power forever and had to move, now the bug is in another apartment of the same building)
I'm just done. I've tried to like the eco living expansion pack but it is truly garbage and has only been a hinderance to my gameplay. But I gave it a chance ok, my sims spent hours making candles and giving every appliance eco upgrades and making repeals yadayada. This. Pack. is. Trash.
Special shoutout to the sharing is caring n.a.p., that cannot be anything but the game designers trolling us big time. Seriously, how is that supposed to be functional?? Your neighbors rob you, you can rob them back and spend hours in build mode designing a patchwork of all the furniture you've had to steal from your neighbors, only to have them come rob you again. You simply cannot have visitors, its like your sims get to live in their own little pandemic. Great!!
The only reason I haven't uninstalled is because I like maybe 5 of the objects from build mode and I'd be giving up an entire neighborhood that my sims have been comingling with. Really, I would be giving up a lot of potential items for build mode and cas but the gameplay would be so much better without n.a.p.s, oh and the bug that essentially condemns lots.
I'm also afraid that the bug will just stick around despite removing eco living. It seems like the bug no longer can initiate with the prank call, I have only gotten the call once like I said. But I have four lots that have been ruined for gameplay due to the bug.
