[FIXED] [ECO] Power turned off due to Squirrel warning and never turned back on

So I was having this issue myself on a lot. The power was turned off by the Landgraab Family and wasn't coming back on - even over 2 Sims days later. So I went into Build Mode - got rid of the mailbox that was on the lot and replaced it with a new one. When I exited Build Mode and went back in, the power was immediately restored. Fingers crossed it stays on (I'll update if it doesn't), but so far so good. If you are having this issue give that a try. :-)

So this is some crap, if my lot has a positive output of both water and electricity, none but the lot owner should be able to turn it off, sure the can turn off their lines, but since my lot produce energy and water, it's no effect on the house. Together with the writing bug, book starts at 0% it's a mean thing of EA to even come up with the idea before fixing silly bugs like writing go to0%. You just waisted my gaming time with some crap. Compensation. Give us some free stuff for everytime you messing up with our time.

LOL what a random fix thanks, everytime i get that call i google to remember which one not to click. Who wouldve thought the mailbox would effect it 

This just happened to me too. Now I can't get power to my house. I'll have to move my family to a new house. Not happy at all about it but that's just how it is. LOL

I know this is an older post, but if it ever happens to you again - go into Build Mode, delete the mailbox on the lot, replace it with a new one and when you go back into Live Mode, the power should be immediately restored. I think it has something to do with the mailbox because bills, and the shutting on/off of power and water, are all tied to the mailbox.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Leave your house by traveling with a Sim or Sims in a household and go back to the their home, a notification from Landgrabb Electric Company will appear asking “Are you prepared?” When you choose one of the options the power will turn off and won’t come back on.
What happens when the bug occurs? The power goes off and won’t come back on.
What do you expect to see? For this issue to be resolved. I’ve all possible fixes and none have worked.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Whatever caused this issue I have no idea and I was reading things where simmers have said putting off the grid items doesn’t fix it either.
