[FIXED] [ECO] Sims keep getting into brawls with EVERYONE

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.136.1210
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have everything installed except for four stuff packs (backyard stuff, cool kitchen stuff, luxury party stuff, moschino stuff)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Run a restaurant and the patrons and employees will start brawling with each other randomly throughout the open hours.
What happens when the bug occurs? Two sims will get into a brawl and everyone in the same room as the brawl will stop what they are doing to watch.
What do you expect to see? No brawling!
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I checked to make sure that it isn't Neighborhood Brawl day, and it's not.  Sims have been getting into fights constantly at my restaurant when it's open.  Customers will fight customers, employees fight customers, and everyone in the room stops to watch the fight.  I have no idea why this keeps happening.

Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title, Added Base Game Version Number

  • @rencattra That sounds like it's coming from the "Roughhousing" Neighborhood Action Plan:/ The N.A.P.s are currently causing a lot of Sims to autonomously do actions related to certain policies (like fighting for Roughhousing).

A lot of people have noticed that Sims can currently pick up N.A.P. behaviors (as hidden traits) from neighborhoods they visit--which is definitely a bug. So even if you don't have Roughhousing enabled, your Sims could have picked it up somewhere else. It's a pretty frustrating bug, but a couple of people have opened threads about it. Fingers crossed we'll get a fix🙂

Same here, thought it was my cc. But i tried everything and they still fight like crazy people... so annoying.

  • Does anyone still have the problem? I repealed roughhousing it's not been active for a while still they start to constantly fight. My Sim is famous so other people attack her Anse she gets a bad reputation

  • Every thread I go to claims that the NAP issues with Eco Lifestyle was fixed in the last patch but I am still having these issues??? I recently re-downloaded Eco Lifestyle because I read that the awful gameplay-breaking bugs were fixed but I've been playing for a few days and slowly but surely all the same issues are coming back. Every neighborhood I go to every sim is dazed from being juiced and everyone is getting into brawls all around me. WHEN. WILL. THIS. BE. FIXED.

Playing on console, no mods, no cc, I have all the packs.

@leeshknowsall If you still have the NAP active, then you will still see the brawls. You need to repeal the NAPs to not have them.

Having them in hoods with the NAP active is not a bug but intentional.

You need to check the NAPs in the hoods you have the issue in. An Sim living in that hood needs to check on their mail box (or the voting board)
  • Hmmm so basically I need an active household in each neighborhood to turn off all the voting/NAPs to get all the behavior to stop?

@leeshknowsall All neighborhoods that already have NAPs active. You can turn off NAP voting entirely in the options but that does only apply to new voting, if there's already NAPs active, you need to repeal them.

But you only have to check when you see odd behavior.

I will mark this as fixed as I believe all NAP problems are solved now and only occur when the NAP is actually active.

Please create a new thread if you still have issues with this
