[FIXED] Executron desk chair glitch

I was really hoping today's patch would fix this issue. (Dec 1.) But it's still not usable when at a desk for me either.

Bug still exists Jan 30, 2017. The chair will not let a sim sit in it if it's coupled with a desk. I have no expansions just the base game, no clue if that's helpful info for the devs? 

Mod the Sims Info has a fix now for the executron Chair.

They state: But although you can put this chair on the desk or the table, you CAN NOT use it. Because this object is defined as a LIVING CHAIR. So, with this MOD, you can use the "Executron Executive Desk Throne" DESK CHAIR as a DESK CHAIR or a DINING CHAIR.

THIS HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR 5 MONTHS!!!!

IF it's so simple to correct, WHY DON'T YOU FIX IT??????

I think EA is playing with us because it's not posible.
Five months passed since this glitch was reported for the first time and no one did nothing!!

Someone fixed this glitch with a simple mod and I think the autor had less than one day to make it. In five months a entire team couldn't fix this?

I'm not using CC or mods just to be clear.

THEY DON'T CARE.   Don't make any money fixing things.  Have to sell us the next pack, priorities.  (sarcasm)

I agree, I find it very irritating, because I like to build home offices for my Sims wherein the chair is an essential component of the overall décor...and instead I have to settle for one of the uglier and less comfortable desk chairs. Overall, I think the game is greatly lacking in selection for desk chairs. But I too wish they would fix this (seemingly minor and thus fixable) issue!
