[FIXED] Extreme Lag When placing wallpaper on walls

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and dogs, CIty Living, Get to work, Get together, DIne out, jungle adventure, Outdoor retrea, parenthood, spa day, vampires, backyard stuff, cool kitchen stuff, kids room stuff, laundry day stuff, movie hangout stuff, my first pet stuff, perfect patio stuff, spooky stuff, toddler stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Load game and select lot 2. Enter build mode. 3. Go to put siding on a house, inside a room. Any wall paper/paint/ anything. 4. second story seems to make it worse.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game lags. Its really bad, its trying to catch up. timed it was 14 seconds from when I clicked to fill a room, to when it actually filled a room. This is the only part of the game I experiance this delay in. No where else.
What do you expect to see? No lag when placing a wallpaper/siding.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 6/19/2018 patch in preparation for season.

I have never had an issue with Lag in my game before. After updating to 6/19/2018 patch, I removed all mods and repaired my game. Loaded it up and started building a new house as thats where I was in my story line. Went to place the siding on, and lag. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. Never experianced any problems with a patch till now. It's very frustrating trying to build a house and having to wait those extra moments for it to finish placing the wallpaper.

  • And we have another fix in Patch 1.44.88

    • We addressed an issue where the game would lag when placing wall patterns on blocks that were touching roofs.

I'll be waiting for feedback for now before marking as fixed.

Accepting this as Solution for visibility though
