[FIXED] Face Bug Eyes and mouth

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.42
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs except Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Download any sims from the gallery into CAS. All previously created sims in Save files are effected as well
What happens when the bug occurs? All previously created sims have a face bug. The eyes and mouth look weird. The eyes look mishappen and the pupils are really big. The mouth has a weird underbite to it. Even resetting the face with new eye presets doesn't fix the problem. This only affect previously created sims. If you create a new sim the bug doesn't occur.
What do you expect to see? My Sims faces to be normal
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The latest patch April 18, 2023

The first photo is the before the patch, the second is after. I did test this in completely vanilla and with completely vanilla sims and the issue is still there. This is not mod related.

    Hey all, 

    Final update: This issue along with the removed "Loose Tooth" interaction are now resolved with the release of today's patch.

    Thank you for your patience while these issues were investigated, this thread will be closed shortly.

    I have this issue too, I noticed the teeth first however.

     

    I tried making new sims several times, they are still deformed, and some reason they all get these fang like teeth, Kinda seems to be related to werewolves, they are neither appearing with my teeth overrides as shown with my already made sim above.

    I have the same problem! Also their eyes are weird, like crossed out, oddly looking. ☹️

    @Sean_Theriault I have same problem! Their faces are messed up, even if I upload them from the gallery. Eyes are like crossed out, pupils are either super big or super small, oddly looking and their teeth is like pinched in the middle.

    Here are some default CAS sims and Erick Lewis with their mouths transparent. Absolutely no CC sliders and no alterations to their appearance.

    I've got this bug too, and I'm glad I hadn't (re)started a family just yet. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have affected my sims all that much, though the mouths and face shapes are somewhat wonky. Typical, though, that a patch to fix things broke something else. I don't expect better at this point from EA, since they don't seem to allow for nearly enough testing before releasing anything.

    What is your current game version number? latest
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all but battu and romantic garden
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try making a female sim
    What happens when the bug occurs? the eyes look like they have extra skin under the eyelash/eyelash line
    What do you expect to see? not that skin
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

    when i try to make a female sim the eyes have this weird extra skin under the eyelashes or the lash line, no matter what I do it wont go away, I've tried in multiple sims

    @BalloonandPotato I have same problem, also faces of my saved sims (saved and already put in game sims that i had before the patch) have faces messed up! Their mouths are wonky either too big, too small or transparent. Also their teeth seem to be like weirdly stuck together in the middle? Even the ones that shouldn't have teeth in middle at all. Their eyes are like crossed just oddly looking :/

    Does anybody else have this exact issue with the texture lack in the mouth, not only the distortion?
