We fixed an issue with two of our facial hair offerings, the ymFacialHair_BeardThinGoatee, and ymFacialHair_ChinStrap, as they were making Sims faces wider when applied. Fixed in Patch 1.74.59/ 1.41 If you're still experiencing this issue, please create a new thread.

This beard is very skewed in my game now.
I repaired it and the problem is still there so I'm gonna guess it's from the patch update somehow?
It did not look like this before.

You also notice the lines around the edges of the mouth

I believe that once the EA BaseGame beards get a fix, that the CC beards will be fine again, too. That is IF EA will ever fix their beard bug that the big Juli 14th update caused.

Allthough they don't like CC posts here, I am very thankful that you did post this important info here. At least here we get e-mail notifications on new posts! Not like the other Forum thesims.com/en_US. The fix that pralinesims did for ALL his beards is awesome! I'm sure EA can do it too for their broken beards but the thing is that they have more to fix than just the beards. So I'm sure it will take a long while before we see a fix for the EA beards if ever.

I've had this bug happen before but thought nothing of it and ignored it, but i've been using this beard more often and its actually really annoying, its almost like the texture of the face doesn't match the beard, its so weird but i would love to know is anyone else is having the same problem?

P.S I don't use mods 🙂

This beard from base game is changing the format of the face and principally of the jaws.
