[FIXED] Facial Hair ChinStrap Makes Jaw Bigger and Looks Distorted

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.45.62.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use ymFacialHair_ChinStrap on a sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? The jaw looks bigger and gets weird shaped/distorted looking.
What do you expect to see? The jaw unaffected by the facial hair.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    We fixed an issue with two of our facial hair offerings, the ymFacialHair_BeardThinGoatee, and ymFacialHair_ChinStrap, as they were making Sims faces wider when applied.

    Fixed in Patch 1.74.59/ 1.41

    Has there been any progress in fixing this issue? I've had this for over a year now and I can't find any update. This only affects the chinstrap beard and mods don't seem to be causing this for me.

    Unfortunately we don't hear about progress. It will be in the patch notes (hopefully) when it's fixed but till then, there's no info.

    I've noticed this for about as long as I've been playing Sims 4. Count me as a "me too!"

    Answer HQ is where bug reports go to get buried so visitors to the Sims forum don't see how broken the game experience is or how long issues have been left to fester.

    This issue is still present since 2017, I don't know what priorities they have. But, It's really annoying that the developers haven't even fix this yet, but they would try to fix the blotchy "new" skintones.
