Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.75.125.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey To Batuu.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your sim have a baby with another sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? As soon as the baby is born, you will see that the pictures of the baby that are all throughout the game (during gameplay at the bottom of the screen next to the other sims in your household and in all gallery and saved game photos) the baby's actual skintone does not match the skintone that is in those pictures. The skintone in the pictures is always really dark and the actual baby's skintone isn't always dark. The actual skintone depends on genetics like it's supposed to but the pictures of the baby throughout the game do not match at all.
What do you expect to see? I expect every baby's skintone to depend on genetics like they're supposed to rather than all of them appearing as the same really dark skintone in all photos of them in the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
At first, after updating my game to the latest patch, it appeared that this issue actually had been fixed, so I continued playing my game today and the issue seems to have reoccurred. I don't know if this issue is still happening to others but I'm hoping lots of people see this so that the Sims team can give this another look. One of the main things I do is Sims 4 family gameplays and this is getting in the way of some great storytelling that I want to bring forth into my gameplay currently.
