[FIXED] [FR] [CD] [DO] [GTW] Households funds stay same when transferring money

How often does the bug occur? Always
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a Sim that ONLY lives on a Residential Rental lot as the landlord. Purchase a business (vet/restaurant/retail), I went with retail. Setup the business. Attempt to transfer funds from business to household, it will fail. Attempt to transfer household funds to business, it will duplicate money.
What happens when the bug occurs? Transferring money from business to household doesn't work. Transferring money from household to business duplicates money.
What do you expect to see? Transferring money between business and household should just work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No mods, fresh save.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? It started with patch 1.103.250, For Rent EP release.

I have a vet clinic, but I can't transfer money to my household? It goes of from my clinic, but I don't get it in my household?

Yikes. Now, this is going to require an audit! Landlords who own a Residential Rental Lot and own a business will no longer have fund transfer issues. Transfers from the business to the household will no longer fail, and money will no longer duplicate household funds when transferring to a business.

Fixed in Patch 1.106.148/1.91

hi @flowrchild Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)

@flowrchild Do you only have issues with the vet clinic or also other businesses ? Have you tried selling and rebuying ?

@crinrict Also I have a restaurant and it doesn't work either. I can add money to the business, but it doesn't go off of my household money. I already try to sell it en rebuy is, but that doesn't work.

@flowrchild Could you test a fresh save for testing purposes to see if it works there ?

Or another household as well.

I can transfer household funds to my business funds, however the household funds remain the same (e.g., I transferred $300, I will still have that $300 in household funds, but also have $300 in my business funds). Whenever I move my business funds back to household funds, the household funds remain the exact same, even if I have additional funds made from clients. (e.g., I move $500 from business to household, household funds do not change); making it impossible to make money from my sim's business.
I have tried repairing the game a few times, deleting the localthumbpackage, and there are no mods in the folder. I have also sold the business and purchased a business on a different lot and that hadn't worked either.

Could you test a new save to see if it's just your current save or a general issue.

Hi @crinrict ,
I made a new save and it worked perfectly. I have a feeling this might be a bug associated with the new For Rent pack.
The new household was moved into an empty lot, and from there I purchased a business and it worked fine. I then decided to move a different household that I wanted to play with into a rental residential and bought a business, for the funds transfer to not work. My previous save lived in a rental too.

To add, I tested this by moving the family back out of the rental and into a residence, it worked. Then changed the lot type to rental, it stopped working.

Seconding this. Households in non-rental homes are able to transfer funds between household and business, but households in rental homes are not able to. Household funds remain unchanged while business funds change when transferring funds from household to business and vice versa.
